In his brilliant little book, book The Millionaire Mind, noted motivational speaker T. Harv Eker states:
The roots create the fruits.
To overstate the obvious, Eker is telling us that the invisible controls the visible. That our inside, hidden parts, shape the results we get in our everyday life. That, no matter what goals you have or things you want to accomplish, how you feel about yourself or how you perceive yourself, will dictate what you get.
For me this rings very true. Why? Because everyday, I spend a lot of my time here:
I can’t imagine much good coming from those inner states — can you?
If I imagine the inner states of the successful me, they’d be:
Just looking at those words makes me feel more powerful, more alive. In fact, it’s worth reviewing them every day.
Anthony Robbins states that words shape how we feel and how we view the world.
